At 15, she moved to Canada to join her aunt, where she graduated from River East Collegiate and later Red River Polytechnic. She met her husband while studying Tourism and Restaurants Administration, Jeff. Together, they built a family with their daughters, Sofia and Amelia.
With over 34 years in Canada, Sabina dedicates herself to strengthening the Dominican community in Manitoba, creating spaces for others to pursue their dreams.

Lisbeth Aragonés, originally from the Dominican Republic, has lived in Winnipeg for nearly two years. With a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a postgraduate diploma in Business Accountancy from RRC Polytech, she excels as a Fund Accountant at Canada Life.
As co-treasurer on a non-profit board and a dedicated volunteer, Lisbeth actively contributes to her community, participating in events like the Hispanic Show, La Paila Canada’s networking gatherings, and the Dominican Christmas Gala.
She also pursues her CPA designation, demonstrating her commitment to professional growth. Passionate about helping others, Lisbeth is eager to continue making a positive impact in the community she now calls home.

Ojandi Jimenez is an IT Engineer with 15 years of experience in technology. She is also a passionate entrepreneur dedicated to helping the Dominican community. She fully integrated into this beautiful community after moving to Canada to expand her business, accounting, and management knowledge.
In 2019, Ojandi discovered her love for pastry and founded Azukitas by OG, allowing her to sweeten many celebrations. Her mission is to make every party and activity tastier, adding a special touch to each dessert she prepares.
In addition to baking, Ojandi loves social media and uses it to connect with others and share her passion.
